Holiday Shopping Auction 2024

Please support our annual Holiday Shopping Auction by bidding on items donated by the community November 28 through December 3.  Item pick up will be at the Library on December 6 & 7.  Money raised will be used for books, programs, and high priority community needs. Mission & Vision

Our MISSION is to raise private funds for educational and informational resources and projects in a manner that does not diminish the need for strong public funding, and to educate the community about the Library's vital role in meeting our community's need.

Our VISION is to build strong public-private partnerships with individuals, businesses, foundations, and community organizations that share our mission for creating a stronger library that is meeting the needs of the under-served.

When you make a gift to honor a loved one or friend, they will receive a card acknowledging your gift, plus a mention in our quarterly newsletter.

$40 will buy two children's books. 

$370 can buy a Wi-Fi Hotspot + connectivity for one year

$500 can honor a loved one with a tribute label in a book for ten years

We invite rising leaders in our community to keep us on course serving our patrons.  Our volunteer positions are ambassadors who raise important funding and spread the word about the amazing work our Library accomplishes. A lifelong reader and longtime marketing professional, Brenda is passionate about literacy and serving our community. She grew up in Lake City, graduated from Gustavus Adolphus College and worked at several major motion picture studios before returning back to southeastern Minnesota to work at KTTC before joining the Foundation.

Born and raised in Oronoco, MN, she and her husband Chad are raising their two boys in her home town. Malea is in 2 book clubs, enjoys being active, playing golf with husband and boys, restoring furniture and has been with the Foundation for 5 years.
